Nicole’s swimming career started here at Glenmoor Gardens Swim School where she took her first swim lesson at the age of 3. She loved the water from day one, and swam competitively for over 12 years. Wanting to share her passion for swimming, Nicole began teaching swim lessons over 20 years ago.
Nicole balanced her competitive swimming with volleyball and had the opportunity to play volleyball in college. She earned a Business Management Degree at San Jose State University and a Masters Degree in Education from National University. She is currently teaching in Fremont Unified School District. When she is not teaching or at the pool, she is coaching competitive volleyball.
“I believe swimming in an invaluable life skill that everyone should have the opportunity to acquire. It’s never too soon or too late to learn how to swim. NOW is the perfect time!” - Nicole
